This is an issue with this model and how it handles sudden power outages. In order to fix it, you must discharge the computer. This can easily be done by doing the following:

  1. Unplug the power cord and hold down the power button for 15 seconds
  2. Plug the power cord back in and press the power button


It should now boot up normally. If it does not, repeat the process and make sure the power cable is plugged in firmly to the computer and that it is plugged in to the outlet securely.
