IT currently only supports the HP PageWide Pro Printers that were approved by the principals at each school. Ink for these printers are supplied automatically and are shipped directly to the room that the printer is in. Under no circumstance should ink be taken from one printer and given to another printer. This causes issues with the auto-replenishment software as it thinks that ink is still there for one printer and then it doesn't order any for the other printer.
If there are any issues with ink not arriving, please put in a printer ticket along with the 6 digit HP ID found on the sticker on the front of the printer. We have record of every time a printer has requested ink and when the ink is shipped, so we can tell when ink should be arriving. Occasionally ink does not get sent out in time.
All other printers, such as Xerox and smaller HP printers, are not supported by IT. We cannot provide ink or toner for these printers anymore, so once we are out, we are out.
