To change your password for Windows and Google, you need to access a Windows machine.


  1. When logged into Windows, press CTRL + ALT + DEL
  2. Select the Change a password option
  3. You will need to provide your old password as well as confirming a new password. Your new password must be 8 characters or longer.
  4. Click the arrow to confirm the new password. This will automatically sync with Google at this point.


At this point, your password has been reset. You may need to update your password in other places such as your phone as the password reset may log you off until you sign in with the current password.


We don't recommend changing your password through Google as this will only change your Google password and not your Windows password.
